XK140 FHC trunk/boot

The carpet on the floor of the trunk is looking rather ratty. I enquired about replacing it and was advised that originally the XK140 trunk floor was covered with "hardura". I believe this is in error (the trunk lid is lined with hardura).
Anyone know for sure?

Give the guys at World Upholstery and Trim a call. I believe that they have all the original information. I checked their site and it does only show Hardura for the trunk, but you can get a definite answer from their experts.

If all else fails, maybe you can get someone to research the issue at Jaguar Heritage Foundation. My guess is that the carpet is not original. Just a guess though!
