i'm brand new to the world of classic car ownership so forgive me if this sounds like a silly question but: has anyone got any advice on insuring a xk 120fhc. how much insurance should i buy, what type, etc. will they write a comprehensive policy for a reasonable fee and then actually pay to have any repairs done correctly? should i stay away from any particular companies or policy types?
thanks for any info and advice.

Pick up a copy of Hemmings Motor News. There are usually several Classic Car Insurance companies in there. Many will give you a discount if its only driven a certain number of miles per year. By the way, I used to have a 54 XK120 FHC back in the early 80's. Loved it!
