Anyone recognize what I am told is a non standard pan for my S2 E-type? The PO bought it as a used item from Terry's Jag in 2007.

Hi Ian,
The sump should have "cooling fins" on the bottom of the casting.
 
That's what Terry Lippincott told me and he doesn't know what this sump is from.
 
It must be a repo. Sump plug is on the bottom...maybe from a sudan?

As in a North East African Jaguar?
 
Sorry about that, XJ6. I would not enjoy paying for the carriage from Africa.
 
I have since found out that it is from the military J60 variant of the 4.2 that is used in light tanks.
 
Ah, see I might be correct in that it came from the sudan?
