This XK 140 I am restoring is need of new brake shoes along with rebuilding the brake cylinders however when I tried to find brake shoes from one of our favorite suppliers, I couldn't find any. Does anyone know of a supplier or do I need to get the old ones re-shoed? Mac

Many relined shoes have passed through my hands: RR, Jag, etc. Nothing wrong with 'em. I use a local outfit that does truck brakes and clutches... and take a ribbing over the "toy" shoes I take in, but they've always done a good job, and for less $$ than a replacement set!

Yes Mac,get the old ones relined and send the drums too so the shoes can be arched to fit.---Fwiw---Keoke

Good advice, all the rare shoes that I have had relined have turned out just like new. I used a truck maintenance supplier.
