XK 140 boot handle

My 1955 XK 140 was one of the first few built in November of 54 and comes with the first style boot handle. In January Jaguar changed to a different style boot handle and lock. What I'm looking for is the length of the newer style handle? Mac
 
You might call XKs or Welsh, thay may have the diminsions. Also you might try thr JCNA website or Jag-Lovers.org and get thru them. We had the later style with the extra LeMans wins on the red Badge.
