XJ-S RF Alarm problem

I have a peculiar problem in that my alarm/remote does not work in one particular location. Everywhere else it works perfectly. Could it be interference? Can I do anything about it?

Then don't park there! Don't mean to sound flippant, I just couldn't resist that! It sounds as if something is causing interference with the alarm in that location. I don't think that there is anything you can do about it without replacing the antenna and then messing about with trial and error seeing if it was fixed or not.

I have heard of this on other RF alarm systems, not Jaguar's in particular. Aftermarket systems have trouble in certain locations, so why should OEM be different? Are you parking near to electrity pylons or sub-stations? How about dumpsters or metal-framed buildings? All of these have been known to disrupt the signal.

Door locks remote on my Lexus won't work in one location in Marina Del Rey CA. Simple and only solution, as said; I just don't park there.
