Wife's got the flu, tropical storm due Saturday
afternoon, might get a few hours fishing in before
the storm hits. Continue repairs to wife's bathroom
sink. Kinda a boring, wet weekend.

I'm flying north tomorrow. Spending time in New England, going to go as far as I can without busting the border. Got plenty of clothes and camera equipment, so I'm good until the money runs out...then I'll reluctantly come back south.

Lesse... Got weekend passes to the Shalens 6 hours at Watkins Glen. So I'm in for some Grand Am action and there's a car show at the National Warplane Museum here in Big Flats on sunday, and our car club gets registered as a group every year. All I've got to take is the 91 BMW, but It's more of a participation-with-the-club thing than for the show.
So I'll be havin a good weekend.
Weather forcast is stellar!

Getting the a/c fixed in the new place.
Trying to move the Rumf to its new home.
Checking out the new floors - and paying for them.
BBQ Sat pm.
Packing.

Apart from that not much.....

Finishing up reorganizing (junk fest)the garage and trying to figure out how to get another 8 more inches of space so I can fit my trailer and truck into a 1 car garage. It's so close but yet so far from fitting.

Hope to work on the Porsche this weekend & tackle the removal of that coolant crossover.

But tonight & tomorrow night I've got to play babysitter to a bunch of teenage boys. The son & about nine of his friends are getting up early in the AM for an all day excursion to Disneyland and returning late Saturday night.

Tomorrow while they’re gone I’ll spend some time with my girls and drop them back off at the ex-girlfriends before the horde returns from the magical kingdom.

But at the moment - I’m hiding in my room right now.

134a 'conversion' on a bud's ~thang~ is first in line, then bro's leaking dizzy O-ring in a Honda Del Sol... BAH!

Where have all th' good ones gone?!?

Brother in law is headed for iraq so BBQ at his place Saturday {all day I suppose}.
Sunday i`ll Blast more small parts for my Tr3 with new sanblast cabnet I just purchased.
Monday ........... Viewing and Funeral {Uncle passed away Yesterday}
NOT even looking any further forward than that!
Nope aint doin it!

Saturday is our 5th anniversary, and I'll be spending the morning at the annual British Field Day in Salt Lake City. Our annual car and bike show/gathering, always a good time. Went to my first one a couple of years ago just as I was starting to save up for a fun car. It definitely had an effect on my eventual direction! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Evening is dinner with the wife, Sunday playing a benefit concert for a friend.

Sorry to hear about your Uncle.

Final touches and installing my mural (finally finished after 2 1/2 weeks!) /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/whistle.gif

Adjusting rear brakes on the MGB, putting the rebuilt front lever shocks from Worldwide in the MGB, going to the pool with family, church, and helping friend cut floors out of his MGB resoration and V-8 install project.

MGB work (switching carbs, new exhaust etc), not much of anything else planned.
[Nice mural Mike]

We just sold the wife's Miata and I promised the buyer that I would install a new timing belt (which I told him up front it needed). It's the least I could do. After that I will probebly do some more on my Jag and then roll the Nissan Pickup into teh garage and start putting teh new timing chain in that. I;ve got it all tore apart already, just need to put it all back together.

Today, I'm heading out to Calamigos Ranch in Malibu for the annual Company Picnic. I volunteered to take my friends' 8y.o. dot to the event again. I took her last year and she loved it. I figure since it's around her birthday it's a little something special for her that her parents can't normally do; plus it's a free day for them to do stuff without their dot for a day.

Tomorrow, I'll be working on the B again. I need to tweak the switch-on temp for the electric fan, and I have a set of pneumatic props to install on the bonnet and boot lid. There might be some other things I decide to look into, but have yet decided on what they will be.

Yeah I got my truck back in the garage and the door closes.

Nunya's did you go with the single strut or the dual for the trunk? I did the single on mine and I am not totally happy with the operation of it as it's rather sloppy and jerky when your opening it. Front however is gravy. Also when you install the front passenger remove the fuse box install the strut as instructed, cut off the excess bolt with a dremel cut off wheel and your fuse box will fit in the stock location without needing to relocate it.

Car show tomorrow AM so I am up tonight cleaning up the GT and getting her ready.
