Wuz Hapnin' this weekend?

Tonight, the Mrs is having her friends around to yak about men, drink unpronounceable drinks with unknown fruit in them.
I will hide in the garage and laugh. High maintenance drama queens, the lot of them.
Tomorrow, Nothing planned at all, probably sleep, watch movies, eat junk food and veg.

Friday:
Did an oil & filter change and some tinkering on the Shark. My son Matt went with some of his buddies to a bonfire at the beach near La Jolla.

Today:
Headed over to Sea world tonight with the family and some neighbors. Some of the group went as an advance party to take advantage of the hot weather & the cool off with the water rides.

Me I'm staying back with the follow up group who don't want to take in the water rides (i.e. they don't want to get wet ) & just want to eat and see the fireworks at 21:30.

Tomorrow (Sunday):
Spending some more time with my kids. Then I’m going to do some yard work and do some more work on finishing off my new office. Shelves & book cases etc.

Partied with the neighbors Friday night. Saturday went to the pool and installed new rear dampers on the MGB. Sunday getting my daughter off early to a mission trip to West Virginia; then church and a little ride in the MGB to test the dampers and to get some ethanol-less petrol in the next county.

I woke up this morning to discover that not only is my roomate busy, but that the fellow who has my GT is having troubles getting it running. He's worried that it may not be ready by the time I go out to pick it up on the third. I'm not sure what to do yet.

Still on the road & currently in California wine country. Steve S was right - there are some great roads in CA!

Spent too much time drooling on an alloy bodied XK-120 and a few others of a similar desirable nature - stumbled upon a C-47 being started for the first time in quite a while, met up w/ my son who managed a couple days of leave, and have gained 5 lbs due to too much beer & steak. Talked briefly with the owner of a nice red TC with a Brooklands wheel (Maybe someone on the forum?)

I've had worse weekends.

I was kind of hoping you'd catch that, John! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

I do a lot of driving while I'm there. I've got a '65 Sprite that lives about 30 miles east of Napa, and know the area well.
