Sunday: daughter, son-in-law, & grandson are coming up & we're having about 20 people over for cake & ice cream to celebrate Jerri's 62nd birthday.

A chicken burrito, chips n salsa, and an ice cold beer. Oh wait, thought this was a dinner thread.....

Taking the dog to the park. That's all I got.

It's our one and only British/European car show tomorrow (Saturday)... And it's finally good weather for the first time in three years, if not a little too hot...

Actually I think Flickrite TRMark mentioned that he might be coming up to the show from where he lives in Montana, I'll keep an eye out for him and his car.

And then Saturday night sorting through and editting photos from the show...

Sunday? Not much really, church in the morning, and we're having our monthly photomeet in the afternoon.

Happy Birthday Jerri!

Headin' out with the wife, Kids, and my Dad to Sacketts Harbor, NY to learn a lot of family history from Dad. Be back Tuesday night.

Having a double 60th birthday party for two family friends at our house today. I need to do some yard work before they arrive.

Sunday will be church, visiting mom at the assisted living home, and relaxing (but thats what many days are in retirement).

Saturday - I decided I would take my "Online Traffic School" class for the ticket I got on my way to the Memorial Day Malibu drive. ~yawn~ can you say "BOOOOOOOOOORRRRRIIIIIIIIIINNNGGGG". Silly class makes me wait 32 minutes per page of information before I can take each corresponding "test". After I finish this, I'll probably go hang out with some friends, and possibly go out for a drive or something. I haven't decided yet.

Sunday - *shrug* maybe I'll run down to the local ranch market and pick up a rib eye for dinner or something, and go for a drive in the mountains if I don't go today.

Sittin' here on th' craptop goin' thru XP "White Papers" and MS-KB articles while watchin' "avast!" antivirus proggy run on the Linux box. BOORRING!

I've the same enthusiasm for this as I would for watchin' a glass of milk curdle. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wall.gif

ARRRRRRRGGGGG!!!!!! this class is driving me up the fricken wall! it doesn't take even close to 32 minutes to read a page about SIGNS.... *grumble*

Well, I know it's scant consolation but I'm right here with ya, Rob.

I 'second' th' *grumble*

OMG... I just read some information that is COMPLETELY unrelated to DRIVING ... and they INCLUDED this non-sense in the stupid arse test! Just so you know, it was information about FILM MAKING! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif

grrrrr... could this be related to the excellent talent we have on the roads out here?

SURE it does! As in: "Don't try to operate filming equipment while driving." That'd be waay high on the priority list of th' natives. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:]As in: "Don't try to operate filming equipment while driving." That'd be waay high on the priority list of th' natives. [/QUOTE]

Yep, especially in California!

bleh... I'fe figured out the information unrelated to driving... I just encountered more useless information on the "licensing" section. "Did you know your body looses and regenerates 1.5 million skin cells an hour?" ... I can almost guarantee there will be a question on that in the test... spot checks to make sure you're reading the information... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif

Keep 'em comin' Rob.... I may need a CA drivers' license some day. I'd hate to blow th' test 'cause I didn't know how many Californians it takes to shed a pound o' skin in ten minutes... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif
