Wuz doin' this weekend?

I took a 3 hour nap!!

I got the carbs, dizzy, and alternator back on the 1968 MGC; then roto-tilled Jean's garden. I'll re-install the fuel pump tomorrow..too hot/humid right now.

I also pulled the door panel on the driver's side of the 1969 MGC and repaired the door mechanism. I'll put that back together tomorrow as well...too hot/humid right now.

Oh, yeah...I greased and oiled the lift, too.

I finally finished the interior of the MGB this morning and then my daughter and I went to a small local car show.

Yesterday I went fishing with friends. We had a good time and also
had a double header (2 Snooks hooked up at the same time.) My fishing pal,
Mateo had the smaller of the two so we released it. Mine will make a very fine
dinner tonight.

This afternoon I'll attmpt to fire up the Crypt Car. Difficult to believe
the car has been mostly dead 3 months now.

Second weekend in a row I'm actually putting time in getting the garage in order!! Cleaning up, sorting and stowing! Should be able to get back to work in there again pretty soon I hope!!

That's a project hat is perpetually on my to-do list! I'll spend a full weekend cleaning and organizing and within a month it looks like I never touched it!

My story exactly!!! Well, at the very least, it confirms that we are putting our garages to good use!!!

I'll jus' slink back into th' hovel now.... :smirk:

Well, at the end of the day here I must admit it was much too nice out and I didn't get near as much done as I would have liked!!!!

<span style="color: #000099">Same here- no luck getting the Crypt Car fired up
so I spent the day mostly in the pool with the Mrs.
Snook for dinner tonight-yum yum.

Hot as... well, hot. In the summers I have to be "on station" by around 9, but I usually only have 30-45 minutes before it clouds up in the sunshine state. Oh well, $3000 in the kitty.

111 here today!

Tomatoes are here! Tomatoes are here! green beans, crowder peas, okra and squash! I picked a truckload of veggies this morning and spent the day peeling, snapping and freezing for winter. Stopped for a BLT for lunch with fresh cantaloupe and watermelon on the side.
Dinner was squash and onions, okra and tomatoes, green beans, crowderr peas and grilled tenderloin! Dessert is more watermelon and cantaloupe.
I LOVE Summer veggies! I just wish I didn't have to pick them in 100 degree weather!
