Rain in the forecast, so likely in the garage....
Sat, more B work.
Sun, more B work.
Find some time to play Silent Hunter 4 me shiverin' mateys. I'm hooked.

Not sure what I'll do tomorrow, weather being the factor. If it's nice I'm going to go into DeKalb and try and photograph the old CNW coal tower and maybe catch a train or two-haven't done that in a week or two. If it rains I dunno.

Sundays the big one-I'll be at Road America for the June Sprints.

-Wm.

Change oil in Miata.
Classic car cruise in Saturday night.
Wash all 4 cars (wax the Outback).
Church and teach Sunday School.
Paint mailbox post.
Plan route for July Miata club cruise.
Return MGB lever shock cores for refund.
Straighten garage.
Pool.

Finish building the family/laundry/den area. Cutting up the GT. Organizing parts as I've so many I need to sell. I gotta cut the GT up right awful quick.

Saturday... The annual Inglewood Sunfest street festival, I enjoy them alot, just lots of fun... A photo from last year's festival, apologies for the crappy photo... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif (me being too self-critical maybe? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif )

Sunday... In the afternoon we're having our monthly photomeet at a private classic car scrapyard that belongs to a local collector, I just wanted to photograph the old rusty cars, apparently some of the women want to do some "modelling" of sorts amongst the cars, yeah... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif

Sat - Dentist then go write a check for kitchen cabinets
Sun - Put countertops on the workbenches in the garage. Yardwork.

Whoopee, can't wait...

Got outta work this evening and had to go over to my friends shop and help straighten out some wiring on a 37 Packard. THe owner wanted to take it to a show this weekend and none of the lights were working right.
After we got everything up to snuff, my buddy says "Wanna drive the Daytona?" (they have a Factory 5 Cobra Daytona replica with one honkin' smallblock Ford engine)
I don't think I need to tell you all how I answered.
Let's just say, I was visibly shaking when I got out of that monster.
Anyhoo... Tomorrow is probably gonna be stuffing the engine in Dads Volvo, or maybe going up to Watkins Glen to see a movie.
But otherwise I'm taking a break this weekend.
I'll probably putter around on the TR2 also

Don't be so hard on yourself - you look loverly! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Lemme see, first, going to do at least some work on the Jag - probably get the boot lid latch back in working order and detailed (not as easy as it sounds due to some bits being broken).

2. Going to do some work on the Nissan Pickup so I can get it running again and get prepped to sale.

3. Balance chechbook (always a thrill)

4. Clean my office and file a stack of stuff thats been piling up in various places in my room.

5. Then, if I have time, save the world from total destruction.

Speaking of which... I finally exposed myself to the outside world and allowed someone to use my camera to take a photo of me... Some of you may know that I'm terribly camera shy, or at least don't make attempts to get into photographs... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/square.gif

I did the photo editing, since it was my memory card that I downloaded onto my computer, it did start life as a colour photo... She took several photos with my Nikon D70s that day (at a Native Indian event), a number of them very good, her first time using a dSLR camera too, admittedly she has an art background to help out...

friday eve wedding and just got back, Sat morning wrecking yard trip for better half's '87 vw cabriolet and Sat afternoon work on the mini and brake lights on the midget. and Sunday cut 1 1/2 acres of lawn and then relax

I'm gonna start preppin' my wheels for paint. I figure I'll hit them with a wire wheel, some fine sand paper, and some etching primer and wheel paint. Then let them cure for about a week before I head down to the tire shop for some new rubber.

Of course, I foresee this being a multi-weekend project. Maybe do all the prep work this weekend, and paint them next... or something like that.

After working for about 670,000 hours this past week, I think I'm just going to veg out. After I cut the grass and maybe go buy a new refrigerator.

Jeff you definitely need a weekend off

You're right, Wilie. The heck with the grass, and the fridge is still keeping things kind of cool. Couch, here I come!
Maybe a bottle of "Wee Willie" Stout later.

Just got in from touring 3 of King Ludwig II of Bavaria's castles....Neuschwanstein Castle is easily one of the new & Wonders of the World!! If you're ever anywhere near it, definitely do not miss it!! (& you know Walt Disney copied it for Cinderella's Castle at Disneyworld!)
