Suggestions on where to find some high quality window winder handles? I bought a set of plastic ones a few years back and they are pretty wobbly and flexible. The passenger side ones have broken on me twice (replaced, broke again).

Grease the runners for your window winders and you will stop breaking the handle, these things should go up and down with almost no effort!
If it takes more effort than a 3 year old can give it then it is too stiff.

Well yea that would help, but these things are just flimsy - they flex a lot. The old ones (wrong color) I replaced were stiff, solid and had no flex.

Hehe nice but overkill /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

I don't think the window lube is the issue really. I broke the others when leaning over while driving (ok, stopped not moving!) to roll up/down the passenger window. The replacements are just crappy plastic and not at all comparable to the originals.

Hmm I wonder if I can paint the old brown ones black...

The other option is to get a Bugeye! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Right on, John...
