MGB WTB Doors for 1967 MGB

Looking for a decent pair of original style doors for a '67 MGB. Must use push button exterior handles and old-style interior handles. I think 1965-1967 would be correct.

My suggestion to you would to be to get in contact with Tony Barnhill. www.theautoist.com he might just be able to help you out. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

There are several wrecking yards for Brit cars, ask again if tony does not work out. He and wife are off to Memphis today to pick up a B, so he will be out of pocket.

Welcome to our li'l chunk of the innernet!

This is specifically a B (and not a GT), right? Just wanna clarify. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Oh, and some photos would be nice as we're kinda visual critters.

Thanks guys. Actually I have already discussed this with Tony. He thought he might be getting some in, but hasn't yet. I also contacted British Miles and he said he has some for $100 each that would need repairs. Several guys on the "MG Experience" forums said he was a little difficult to deal with so I am looking for other sources.

I'd be happy to post some pictures of the car but haven't figured out how to do it on here yet. It's a '67 tourer (roadster), not a GT. The doors are off of a newer B and my wife and I like the look of the original interior handles better, but apparantly you can't just mount the old style interior handles on the newer doors (without doing a lot of custom fabrication).

If Tony doesn't have any, I've got a couple - from a '73, but they'll work. Check your private message.

Thanks, but while the '73 doors will fit, I can't install the old style inside hardware to it. At least that's what I've been told. If I could do that I would just keep the doors I have.

Hicksite, Welcome to the Forum... 'tis a great site for more information and opinions than you could possibly need!!

Jack, the west coast British Car Masters site is a good one. It's actually a few miles from my home and I have bought parts for my MKI from them... They really DO have a mountain of parts. Takes a bit just to get to their office.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Unfortunately, they don't do much with 'A's.. which is what I REALLY need right now...
