needed for engine restoration: qty 1 +.040 piston with connecting rod for 2639 Longbridge AH 100-6 engine.
 
I have a full set of con rods out of a scrap tricarb engine . The rods are fine and I have two sets original standard pistons as well if you decide to sleeve the bores and go back to original size .

Boring a 2600 to 3000 is a bad idea and can lead to catastrophic failure. Mike Salter has documented this I believe on his blog. Just saying...

I am already running +.040 in the 2639 engine for the past 25 years. I am not boring the block out. I just want to use more modern pistons. The choices are non existent for the early Longbridge pinch bolt small end connecting rod. That is why I want a set of later bushing type small end connecting rods from a later engine.

Thanks for the warning about boring open any further. but that is not my intention.
