All sorts of petromobilia everywhere - inside garage & outside.

Print of Steve McQueen from the film Lemans, Wiring diagrams for the cars, print of a TC as inspiration to eventually get mine back together.

bugimike, the posters o.k., do you know the name of the artist, year it was done etc? i only ask because ive been sketching some similar type/style stuff for my own amusement, a totally unnecessary critique would be that the cars "hood" is so out of perspective it would drive me nuts every time i looked at it. thanks for sharing. :savewave:

Good questions Anthony! I had to go back and blow up the photo I took, but no artists signature! It is a recent poster put out by 3M to promote their electrical tape. I believe my buddy got it from a Snap-on salesman or some such!

Until you mentioned it I had not noticed, but you are so right!! The perspective on the hood is attrocious!!! I liked it because it kinda has that "Lulu Belle" kind of look found on the old WW II planes! My reproduction of it also seems to have stretched the height a bit! Funny how we can get so caught up in the details that perspective errors like that occur! Here is an early attempt (the subject dates the picture!) where that happened to me...never did redo it, just stuck it in a drawer!! :eeek:

I have the mcQ in the home office

Vinyl Dunlop tire banner with a vintage Grand Prix racer and a "Welcome To Sebring" vinyl banner. Miscellaneous other auto related stuff.

bugimike, thought not as scantily attired it does have the "pin up" style of aircraft grafitti/nose art, of course the "gal" is the primary subject it just appeared to me obvious the surrounding features were added later and are more of an after thought, the sketches ive been doing consist of very much the same sort of style, one is a "lucas" add, another is an add for auto oil, still just for my own amusement.

Cool Anthony! There is no better motivation! You should post a sample!!
