Have to have two trees taken down in the backyard inside the fence. They have to use a crane to lift the cutoffs out as they cut them off as not to damage anything, $2000! Bringing the crane in tomorrow. What ever happened to $500 per tree??

Proof positive that money does grow on trees.

Don't tell Tahoe Healey. I think it was $5,000 for him.

Yep. I had some stuff removed over the late summer and fall, plus treatments to "rot" the stumps and avoid bugs moving in. Cost would never be mistaken for cheap.

Even an annual trimming of a smaller American Smoke tree costs me $250 annually. I did myself up until last year when I found I could no longer reach the higher parts of the tree.
we aren't getting much change out of $1000 every two years for our Ash tree. Mind most of that is to innoculate it against the ash boarer. Still cheaper than removing the tree though.
