worth the bucks?? Sebring bonnet '67

I'm just sorry its not Marysville WA.
I'd be all over that thing!

i gave $700 for mine...
had to drag it home and
spend another $300 or
so just to get it to move...
and then........

Buy it if it runs!........z

Go for it!

Sure...do it, everyone needs a few projects.

pull the trigger!.. .. get the bonnet!

If it's solid and it runs, it's worth it. Have another project!

Glen
Go for it. The hood is worth the price!

Paul

Come on, asking a question like that to a group like us. The only reason someone would tell you not to buy it is so that they can get it themselves. Go and get it and tell us when the Sebring mold is ready.

No kidding! A bonnet like that will always get the gawkers gravitating to your car, that's a lucky find. Need more pics!

Yes, I would like to see a bonnet pic as well.

If I lived closed, I would recommend that you pass

SO....did ya buy it?? Did ya? Did ya?? We want to KNOW!!!

Tomorrow morning early, 100mi round trip to check it out and make up my mind. Nice day for Sprite drive so I can't lose. I wonder if Bugsy would like to sport a mismatched nose for the Ozarks? Better mileage... but red/yellow...
not so much.

Aw, you've got time to paint that nose...Jack tells me I should be able to reassemble my car in 2 or 3 days! hehehe

My oh my, what have I done? It was too good to pass up. The handshake deal will hold until the replacement pink slip shows up. $1K for what you see below. NO rust to be seen. Very solid and clean underneath. 3 into 1 header, hanging open, no pipe. Rear arches cut and bondo-flared to hold more rubber. Two extra intake manifolds, four extra carbs, extra ribcase, pair of Mikuni carbs. Silly DPO things under bonnet, but no biggy. The fiberglass bonnet has a few cracks and is very poorly aligned for now, but should be a piece of cake for an old kayak builder like myself. Needs grill and top bows at the very least. And the velour interior will be short lived.

It will have to wait until after Missouri and my wife's Traveler's paint job, but next spring.................
