Worn Hub Extension Studs

The nuts on the five studs on the driver side hub extension came lose and ruined the studs. Is it possible to remove and replace the studs without removing the bearing hub housing? In other words, is there enough room between the hub carrier and the brake backing plate to drive the old studs out and insert the new ones? There is recent thread about removing the hub carrier so if necessary, I think I can go that route, but was hoping for an easier solution.

NO ROB I think you will be required to remove the hub because the new studs wil require pressing in.--Fwiw--Keoke

:iagree:

No short cut for this one, Get the big spanner out and the pullers, remember, right hand side , right hand thread, left hand side, left hand thread.
