Hey all,
Know I have seen a similar post about installing a new carpet
kit but can't find it. Have new carpet kit from AH Spares and it is a nice quality hessian backed carpet very close to the original. Problem is it is as stiff as a board !! I believe
I read where someone else had a similar problem and steamed
the carpet to work it so it would install easier ? Does
anyone recall this or have any ideas on how to make this
stiff carpet more flexible to work with as I install the
fitted pieces ?
Thanks,
Mike

bighealeysource, last summer i watched a pro. interior installer that only does expensive high end cars using a heat gun around areas that needed to be contoured to fit.
