Working under the car

When I am laying on my back under the car I lay the tool on the floor next to me. Frequently when I reach to retrieve it it is difficult to find as I can't see it. This also applies to the various bits of hardware I need. Now that is no longer a problem. Harbor Freight has a magnetic tray in a couple of different sizes and the smaller one is sometimes one of their give a-ways. The tray sticks upside down to the under side of the car. Even in that position, my wrenches and screw drivers adhere easily. Now any nuts or bolts I need no longer roll away from my reach and everything is visible and easily grabbed.

Hey Nelson, A good trick. Thanks.

Is Little Mo going to be ready to go for Spring. Engine back together?

The engine is together but I'm working on coolant leak now. I think it is/was from the area of the heater valve. Right now I'm waiting to see if it stops dripping. A couple of days ago a puddle of antifreeze appeared under the car. And I thought I had everything squared away - I should know there is no such thing with these cars. LOL

Hey, I have one of those... but never thought to use it up-side-down. Interesting.
