Hey Bob,
looking good ! Like your idea of getting the new stuff welded in before you strip it down to keep everything aligned better. Seems like a good way to do it providing you have good steel to attach it to which sure you did. Keep the pics coming as always nice to see one coming back from the dead !
Regards,
Mike

Spot welder? That's the easy way!

Which one are you using, and did you get any of the special configuration tongs to go with it?

Much of a learning curve? I've thought about buying one, as it's about the only type of welder I don't have

Randy, Got the Miller, model ? Not at home to tell you. Has extra tips but might get extra tongs to reach certain places. Thanks, Bob :hammer: Never enough toys !

Hello Superwrench,

Looking good.

Would like to see your project maybe we will have the possibility to meet each other and chat about our Healeys. Our family will tour the each coast July/August. As we have cousins and an aunt living in York we will stay a few days at their place.

Harry

Harry, The door is open for you and your family to stop and chat about our Healeys and have a pint or 2 ! Thanks for the kind words about my project ! PM me before you get to the states.

Randy, That is what I have. The MSW. It works great. They had some welds in places that I can't get to without arcing. They must of had insulated tips. I'll have to see if they sell them. take care, Bob
