WOOOHOOOO!!!!

~bangs head repeatedly on desk~

Color's the most important thing. It's what 100% of the people see. Not the interior, not the engine bay, the color.

WHY is it so difficult?

Because you have to live with it once it's done for the next 10 to 15 years or spend booku bucks to have it fixed. I spent months trying to figure out the right color for mine. Then spent another hour or 2 at the body shop trying to find the exact shade I wanted. You have no idea how many different shades of met. grey there is in the color books.

Did anyone start a pool on what color Jaybird picked yet? I'm thinking either Sandy Beige or possibly Flamenco

So, what's "our" color? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif
Since you're dead set agenst all my favorites, I still vote for OEW.
I just can't get over how dove gray looks like wet primer.

SUEDE, banjo, WET SUEDE.

Excellent news Jaybird!!

Congrats!

But Citron with a red interior??

It might look like someone hurt Big Bird /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Just kidding /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm a bit out of the loop,..is the color a secret?

Good luck !

I've not wanted to guess yet... I like surprises.... But....
Only Silver or grey would go good with a red top and interior IMHO.

OK, there's my guess. But once again, I'll state my preference for and early car...

Platinum Silver (metalic), maybe with a pearl clearcoat.
Bronze metalic - makes BGT's look like Bond Cars

We HAD a color chefarosa, but I just don't know now. Not so sure and Chuck's at a guys night bachelor party (one of the guys from the club is getting married) I'm sure John will try to talk him out of our color, and I'm sure a few others will try to talk him into something else, and I'm sure one or 2 will like the decision we originally made.

Actually, pale primrose with red looks good, saw an MG (or was it a Jag, they're so similar) somewhere last summer. Stewart's color gray metallic, silver, bedouin, sandy beige, pewter metallic...lots of colors look good with red interior.

Thinking I want the paint job to look like Bret's xray of his B. Think we can get it painted like that?

Sure, but you won't like the cost$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

But it WOULD be one of a kind, wouldn't it!?

I'd do that to my 3rd or 4th B if I had the resources and money. What a conversation piece!!

Pink. MG never had a pink or fushia (et al) color. Lilac, primrose, iris blue...other 'pastels' but no pink.

There are printing copanies that'd do ya some vinyl graphics cheaper that a repaint with the x-ray's on it! I think that'd defiately be unique! But, I'd have to add a lower-half of a human x-ray to the drivers door! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Oh but of course.

Would be great to pick up a running beater and do that to it with those vinyl wraps.
