You guys shoulda made it. It was really great to meet Jack and his lovely wife, as well as his newlywed sister.
Jack and I had a leisurely lunch, and, believe it or not, there were a few Airdale stories slipped in amongst the Bugeye stuff.
Jack put up a valiant fight for the check, but this is one time when youth and exuberance triumphed over old age and treachery. We then retired to the drawing room for cigars and brandy, along with swapping some more stories.
Jack's every bit as fun in person as he is on the forum. A truly nice gentleman, and I was sorry we had to cut it short.
Next time, Niceville!
