...since December 1st.

No diet pills or anything of that nature in over 7 weeks, and I am still losing weight like crazy. Definitely a lifestyle change worth making!

Congrats! I understand the hard work and lifestyle changes necessary (I lost about 40lbs back in 2001). Good on ya!

Way to go, Bubba! At 14, I was a fat little "cochon" - weighed more than I do now (at 57). Lost the weight over a few years at the time, and never "grew" it back. Keep it up!

Does that mean our trip to the La Habra In-N-Out Burger is off? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

PC.

When I saw the thread title I thought for sure you were making a joke and you cut 73 pounds of weight from your car. But to my delight and surprise that was not the case.

WAY TO GO, MAN!!! You're an inspiration for anyone trying to lose weight. And to do it without all the hocus pocus is even more impressive.

Good for you!

I lost over 40 lbs since March '06 and have kept it off. I'm 6'1" and 185 lbs now.

No big secret: just eat less.

Better to do it when you're young...harder to do (but not impossible) when your 56, like me.

Congrats!

Way to go Zack!!! "Que quapo" as we say in Spanish.

I lost 42# the same way- walking miles, eat healthy,
lifestyle change. 195 to 153 in 4 months.

Now shoot for very exclusive 5% Club.

Only 5% of folks who lose 30 or more pounds can keep
it off after one year. I'm at three years and holding.

Keep at it and enjoy your new found healthy body.
Get to love your greenies and nothing deep fried.

south beach diet - no cheating - 20 pounds in 4 weeks, would kill for a burger and fries!

Subway has become my ally in the fight, but it really just comes down to eating less, and being a little more selective in what I do eat.

I've cut alot of sugar out, very little coffee, fast food has been cut down to Wendys Chili and a plain potato, and keeping to a 1800-2000 calorie intake.

The calorie intake isnt a huge problem, because there is SO much that you can eat to fit in there. People just have to take the time to figure out what all that is.

howard the duck, cheesh! i thought ya maybe had your machinist drill some big holes in your flywheel! but this news is even better you look much healthier congrats. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Zack,

you are on the correct page now.

I also ate Subway low cal and still do.
Only diet sodas but my doc told me one day
a month "go out and eat like a pig". I do
that as well.

The biggest thing is mindset. Zacque's in the right frame of mind to do this now. I firmly believe that the majority of weight loss is in your head. Think thin and you'd be surprised how your body behaves thin. (I'm a fine one to preach this now since I've gained a pound a week since I stopped smoking!) Every second of every day, KNOW you look exactly like you want to look. Be thin. And 30 minutes of moderate exercise every day helps tremendously.

Ask me, I just hauled my fat rumble seat off my bike after a 30 minute ride.

Now where's the ice cream...
