Re: Seat covers...

There are some black seats on ebay, item # 130042281459 I don't know how to do that fancy automatic link stuff.

Re: Seat covers...

I've actually been bidding on those black seats....But shipping from South Carolina is gunna hurt. I think I might wait to get the car in my poession(tomorrow) then take it to an upholstery shop and see what they can do.

Re: Seat covers...

I've got the cover from our passenger seat,
If you're interested - Make me an offer (or send a PM).

Re: Seat covers...

I am interested Doug, is it black? later style? No rips?Passenger side only?...email me

I got the beast home today....Dropped in a fresh battery and turned the key....Fired right up an idled nicely(a little high though) I hopped in and took it for a quick ride: extremely tight car, no noises/vibrations, pulls great, shifts VERY smooth, just a great driving car.
It was restored in 98 and the color changed from red to grean(but a nice clean job was done) all the engine compartment is paitned nicely(but dusty), all the intnerior was replaced(except the seats)...Unfortunatly the PO never gave the car much care and it's gone right down hill since then. The interior is filthy(I mean REALLY dirty), the paint is faded right to the primer in spots, and there is a few spots in the body that need attention. I think I am might attempt my first complete car paint job(I did half an MGB last year).
I took some pics, and I'll get them posted within the next few days.....It's frezing out there, but i gave it a good bath, scrubbed the interior panels, removed the softop, and put the hardtop on it. And I am beat, tomorrow I'll go easy: figure out the hardtop brackets, and adjust the hood latch.
It feels great to be back behind the wheel of a 6! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif
