Woodworking bandsaw Help

I am tuning up the bandsaw I got (used Crftsman 12"). The rubberband on the top wheel kept walking off the wheel to the front. I took it off and turned it around reset the saw and turned it on. The saw cut great but when I looked at the upper wheel the rubberband was slipping off to the rear. I assume I need to get a new rubberband?

You are right!! I Googled the problem and found out that rubberbands need to be glued down with 3M adhesive and then it takes 48 hours to cure. Thanks for the hint.
