Oh boy....twin sons of different mothers! laugh

Yeah, funny how the story of the Woodstock experience has changed over the years.

I guess it's like fishing. :jester:

Same here. Goin' into sophomore year of college, me an' future FirstWife waved goodbye to friends settin' off for the Event. For us it was either Woodstock or the upcoming Glenn trip, we chose th' Glenn. Got the horrid tales of endless mud and awful conditions on their return. NOW it's the "Experience of a Lifetime" for 'em.

I've no regrets, I can watch th' movie any time.

Did watch the "Then and Now' thingie last eve. Entertaining. I think what came out of it was more worthwhile than any attending of the event itself. And wasn't it Wavy who said something about there bein' three million more claimed 'attendees' now than the nearly half million actually there? Funny, that.

"If you remember Woodstock, you weren't THEEERE, man." :jester:

My interest in Woodstock is immeasurable

But in the spirit of the moment, I feel this pretty well captures it. (This was posted once a while back)

It's funny but...

'smits started gigglin' her butt off when the Joe Cocker footage started last night... I asked her what th' joke was. She said: "I just KNOW you're thinkin' of th' Belushi skit!"

She was right.

One of our early "dates" was a regular Saturday evening attendance to my friends home to watch SNL. That night was particularly riotous, memorable and never to be forgotten. Spastic Joe by John was a highlight.

 to friends gone but not forgot.

doc, about 21 minutes into the flick youll see a white 3000 healey go by, thats my bud rob, though not in the footage was me and bud "peety" in a black carman gia, i do show up later for a second or two in the pond in my birthday suit, ya hadda be there man!, my older brother by 14 months was on parris island.

 Parris Island 2, Woodstock 3,000,000
