Woodruff key for DWR camshaft?

Hope someone here has a quick answer for me. I bought a DWR8 cam from Denis Welch Racing and am in the process of installing it. The woodruff key does not appear to be the same as the factory one. The slot measures ~0.192” deep versus ~0.232” factory. The key diameter also appears to be smaller. The new cam kit did not come with a new key, so I’m a bit stuck. Hoping someone here has dealt with this before so I can get a new key now without having to wait until Monday to call DWR.

Thanks in advance,
Rob Cadle

My DWR8 cam required an offset key (vs a one-time use of DW's pricey vernier arrangement). Russ Thompson sourced it.

I wouldn't be inclined to trust a hardware store key available on a Saturday - sounds like your impatience is pushing you.
