As the Woodland, CA show is this weekend I was curious if any Forum members were attending? For those who don't know of it, they usually get 200 to 250 assorted British classics. Probably one of the best show in California. If you do go, stop by and say "Hi" to the white BJ8. Probably the only Phase 1 (single glass directional lights)there.

Hi TH,
Guys, this is a great show, all British. I've attended this a couple times.
Currently, there are 185 cars preregistered.

I may show up with a friend and come over and say hi. We'll be selling a whole bunch of junk, I mean british parts over in the swap meet area. If anyone here needs anything, PM me and I'll see if between the two of us, we may have it, and get back to you before the show.

TH, you may be the only 64 phase 1 single glass directional there, for I will not be driving my car to the event.

In case others aren't aware of this, the early 64 phase 2 cars, like mine, have a single plastic directional.

Cheers,
Roger

Ah, Phase 1 has glass "beehive" lenses. Sorry you wont be there. I love seeing your car (I have to put on my sunglasses for the viewing) even if I have to walk way over to the "winner's circle" to see it.
By the way, that figure of 185 was two weeks ago and many wait till the last week to register.

Good eye TH!
Yup, your right. The website says: Listing of registrants as of 5/6/2011
Rich, I said I may show up. My car will not. So you don't need to take your sunglasses out. You're funny.

You recently put a new coat of white on your Healey, right? And you'd spruced up all the other areas, right? I'll expect to see your car in the winners circle next year. Good luck!

Cheers,
Roger

Actually, she got stripped and repainted last spring. I got a second place in our division that year. That's cause you weren't in the competition (being in the winners circle, once again) Just joking with you. That was at the Autumn classic in Morgan Hill or was it both. We love hanging with all the LBC people and have made many friends there. It is hard to judge all the beautiful cars and worse to be judged. I long ago gave up on "wins". Its just about the cars and the people.

I'll be there too. Sadly, I couldn't sort out my issues in time this year, so the car will be left in the garage.
