I have a wooden steering wheel on my '62 BT-7 that's a decent Derrington replica, good enough for me. The concours guidelines are clear that the original plastic steering wheel had the "banjo" spokes oriented like an inverted Y, so that the the single vertical set of spokes wouldn't obstruct the view of the speedo and tach. Question: What's the correct orientation of the Derrington wheels? The guidelines are silent on the issue and the couple of Healey books I have show them both in the "Y" orientation and inverted Y. I know it's ultimately a "do what you think looks best" answer, but was there an accepted way to install the Derringtons? Thanks,
-Tom
