Wood Steering Wheels

Jim,
Here is a lower cost option..listed on ebay item 390635525789.
I think he has other hubs available..I bought one from him several years ago for my MKII Sprite. The difference is mine has longer slots vs the holes shown here. My only comment on the wheel is that the diameter of the rim is a bit smaller than some. I don't mind it, but I do prefer a thicker wheel. You can get an idea of it from the photo.
Mine seems well constructed..I got brake fluid on mine by accident so I had to strip the varnish/lacquer off..
Not a bad value in my opinion..

Do either if those include horn push?

slots vs spokes and holes what is the preference?

15,14 or 13 inch diameter?

They both have adapters and horn push, but note that in the first description, it lists later Sprites/Midgets. The second one is noted to be for a BE-> MkII.
I went 14"..I'm happy with it. I have no experience with 13"..15" just seemed larger than I wanted.

Agree but that vendor offers sane wheel to fit different applications via different hub. Slots or holes your preference ?

It's a personal thing..I like the holes personally. I have one of each actually (found a good deal on a moto-lita..couldn't pass it up)..
They each look nice in my opinion, but I lean toward the hole version. Get what you like though! :encouragement:

I'm with Devin on this one, it's a very personal thing. It's your main interface with the car, so it needs to feel and look right to *you*. My personal preference is a thin wheel with slots, and tend toward larger sized wheels -- though not on a Bugeye due to wanting every spare inch of room I can find.
