I have all electrics except wipers, turn signals, heater. Is the problem the ignition?
 
No. Everything works but the wipers, turn signals, heater motor. I was thinking that it might be the ignitions switch. All fuses are good. What all is connected to the ignition switch? Do you know. Help.
 
I just pulled out a wiring diagram. Looks like the switch connects directly to the starter and ammeter and dash lights, and the brakes lights are fused. There is other stuff too btw. If you have brake lights and dash lights then it's less likely to be the switch. If you have a voltmeter, check there is current to the starter. If so then it's either bad or jammed (which used to happen to me on my Herald all the time - a tap with a hammer often helps).

[/ QUOTE ] Even if the fuses look good, they might not be "clean" where they contact the fuse box. Try just moving them back and forth a bit, as the outages you describe sound to be directly related to that fused circuit. Could also be the fuse box itself and/or the wiring connected to it. But roll those fuses around first; that seems to cure such problems a majority of the time!
