Wonder How THIS Would Look...

Mickey, you are gonna get to heaven soon enough. Don't push your luck. Gotta admit tho that those would look cool on the 8

Now that's a real purty setup, but I don't know if I could make that first cut in the hood to let those carbs through...OUCH!

Just take the hood off. That way when you sell the car you can put the hood back and keep the carbs to put on a Mini Cooper, zoom, zoom, zoom, heh.

Ugh. Overkill. Keep it simple/original.

Can't lose! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thankyousign.gif

I like the idea but do not like the looks, looks like it was thrown together. I Like the triple weber look myself, mean while I will keep the eldebrock carb I have. Not as fancy but has bee extreamy dependable so far

Speaking of cutting the hood (bonnet), I held my breath long and hard before the body shop dropped the hammer on that giant C-shaped louvering device that punched the first of 13 louvers in my bonnet. For those interested in the details, we had to move the under-hood (bonnet) brace on the right side inboard about 4" to make room for the louvers. I run K&N water-proof socks on the three 3" filters to keep any unwanted water out in the rare occasion I get caught in a deluge.

Wiseguy!

Been driving it this week, and the fans have been acting up. Gotta find out what's causing that!

Careful, I do have photos of you driving your 8 on and off the trailer, and sitting on a trailer in a parking lot!!

But the only way you are going to work those bugs out is to put it to the test - ah fan controller? Seems like Lanocha Racing guys replaced a few of those at VTR?

But heck, if my Stag was in the perfect condition of your 8, I'd be first in class and very proud too.

Thanks, Glenn. I'm addressing the fan/relay problem now - having a new location made for one of the sending units, and will be redoing much of the wiring. It's running well, and overall, I am really pleased with the car. Just need to make it a bit more reliable.

On to VTR 2008!
