I've been pondering how to install my Crane Cams electronic ignition without it being overly apparent and without having to drill additional holes in my engine compartment. I came up with the idea of attaching the box inside the cockpit mounted with heavy duty velcro then running the four wires through the firewall through a spare hole.

That idea worked fine but I didn't like the look of four colored wired running around the engine compartment. I tried without success to find something to hide the wires yet look like it "belonged".

Comes Doug Lawson to the rescue!! He suggested that skate boot laces might work. After a bit of searching I found a near perfect pair of laces that complement the black with blue tracer BE wiring harness. The following is a link to the results. https://www.spritespot.com/gallery/view_p...amp;id=DSC03527

That looks great Ray! I thumbed through the next few pictures after that one and the lacing looks really good. A little wrap of tape (or tucking "outside in") to prevent fraying on the ends and you've really got a look that goes well with that new harness. Thanks for posting the pictures!
