Wishes for Dave Russell

Dearest Dave and Marlene.

Dave I have so much respect for you and appreciate all of the knowledge that you have given us in the past and will continue to in the future.

Please know that you are in all of our prayers and that I had the Deacon add you to our prayer list.

Best wishes to both of you and if you ever need anything from your family here we will be glad to help.

Patrick

Hard to add more to what's been said... you're in our thoughts, Dave.

Dave,
Just wanted you to know that during the short time I've been on the forum, your advice has been well recieved by both myself and others. Very prompt and extremely accurate. My thanks and prayers are with you.

Dave-

We never met face to face, but I know from your postings you are a good and special person, and I hope these messages help you know that we are all pulling for you.

Randy

Dave and Marlene - You have never met me but I know that you are both honorable people. This is evidenced by Dave's demeanor on this forum. My mantra has been - "If Dave says it's so, I believe it!" This is the finest compliment I can give you Dave because if the truth be known, I am a 'doubting Thomas.'

My prayers are for all good for you both. I cannot find any more words than to simply say - Fight the good fight.

Agatha A Healey's Caregiver,
Judy/Land of Enchantment

Dave I'm at a loss for words right now. You took the time to help me when I was new to this game and for that I have been ever grateful. Your kindness will be paid back 100 fold. Your presence will always be here in the hearts and minds of the members of this board regardless the outcome. My family will pray for you and yours. The wisdom you have given us all will in no way ever be matched by any of us alone.
Please take these well wishes to heart and know that you have an extended circle of friends that many can only wish for.
JC

Dave,

Please know that your presence is sorely missed and that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

It's hard to know what to say in this situation. I've traveled this journey as caregiver to someone very close and learned that, although it's tough - definitely not for wimps - oddly enough it has its rewards and occasional triumphs. It only beats you if you lose your spirit. Based on what I know about you, that won't happen.

Dave our prayers are with you and your family.
David and Terri

Renee and I are praying with you both.

Dave and Marlene- it is not possible for me to think of someone who better exemplifies the spirit of selfless sharing and good counsel found here on the BCF than you. I have read many a Healey post of yours just for the added knowledge and remote possibility I could apply it. My hopes and prayers go out to you and hope you understand the enormous support team you have here. Fight on, friend!

Dave, you are truly a class act, when I first came to this forum I was not sure if it was a "place" I wanted to be even though I have a huge love of all things relating to British cars. However, your knowledge and modest way of conveying it convinced me that this was indeed a great place to be.

Lots of great people in the hobby, you still stand out.

Your "cyber friend" Greg Lemon

Dave,

I can't add much - hang in there,& prove
those doctors wrong!

- Doug

Dave - you gave me more help than maybe even you knew about, back when an "unknown to me" 1959 TR3 came into my care. Now TeeYah is back on the New England roads, due much to your advice. You were an inspiration to us then, and you're still an inspiration to us now.

BCF is a family, and a family shares its ups and downs. You're part of that family, and we're here for you.

Tom

Dave- Hang tough, think positive stuff, pray.

Don't quit and lie in bed.
I'm living proof the docs can be wrong.
2 years plus 3 months beyond what the doctors
gave me.

My prayers go to you.

I feel fortunate to know so many good people in the world. I have not met you in person but after years of conversing online, I can tell we would get along just fine. From my family to yours, best wishes for a speedy recovery. Stay strong and take care of yourself, my friend!

Hi Dave,

We have never met but I too have read many of your posts & how graciously you have helped others in their time of need.

We are all here to return the favor. Just ask what we can do for you.

As Tinster puts it: What do those Doctors know anyway!

Respectfully,

Russ

Dave: I pray for you peace and tranquility and strength to uplift you in
your days of trial. Thank you for being such a positive force in and among
our British Car family Forum. We all wish you all the best and a prayer
for the best possible resolve.

Best wishes,

Dave Russell,
I can but add my best wishes for the future from this far side of the pond to those already posted
Ian R

Thoughts and prayers are with you and yours Dave.
