Hello everyone,
I am the proud new owner, along with my hubby of this 1965 MGB that we purchased just this week. We're looking forward to learning all that we can about this car.
Some modifications have been made since the article was published...we'll see what we plan on doing with them.
I have loved MG's since high school when I caught MG envy from a friend who was restoring one in Shop class. I used to love how she would come in to History Class with Royal Blue paint smudges on her person and grease under her nails!
It's taken me a few decades, but thanks to the eagle eye of my hubby, and lot's of wishes to my fairy Godmother! LOL...my dream has come true. Woot!

Welcome flowerlady! Its great to see another Husband and Wife team of LBC lovers! Like you I have been inlove since High School and my hubby bought me my 1st one for my birthday 2 years ago (77 Midget) Rigth now we are working on reviving a 1980 RB MGB. You'll love these guys! Their patience and devotion to their cars makes for a great place to hang out.

Welcome - interesting car...come on over to the MG Forum & share with us...I wanna learn more about it.

Interesting indeed. You sort of got a muscle car and M.G. all rolled into one! Congrats on the new purchase, I'm sure you will have a lot of fun with it.

As a dedicated Erma Bombeck fan, welcome to you and your good-natured hubby.

I've owned and raced British sports cars for about 40 years, but never owned an MGB....until about a month ago when, almost by accident, I bought a white '69.

I think many of us have big plans for our "new" MGBs in 2008. Welcome aboard!

Thanks everyone, for the very warm welcome! I do believe the engine is what sold my guy (his username refers to his own muscle car) on this particular MGB.
I'll have the hubby (BubbleTop61) give you the particulars in the MG Forum, as I have a feeling y'all will lose me with the Q's real quick. Mechanically inclined, I'm not!
We're looking forward to getting to know y'all. Have a wonderful New Year in 08!
