You are never sure what you are going to get until you ask. Many people clam up when it comes to money and guess what, it's your money at stake.
My buddy goes to his review last wednesday and is expecting a raise, but he also mentions to his boss that there is a bonus pool that is worth quite a bit of money and that last year he did not recieve a bonus. His company has a bonus pool that is split up amongst the team and however well they do during the year at saving the company money, is what the pool is worth to divy. So the boss asks my buddy how much is in the pool? His respone "42,000" His boss says hmm well there is no reason not to get that money as a bonus this year. Kicker is, my buddy is a team of ONE!. He got it all. Lucky dog! Boy I wish I had them clams!
