Hello, my name is Eric Fischer and I have a Healey BJ7 which I bought in 1996. Older restoration but a good DD. Was thinking of selling it (got the Porsche bug) but my 17 yr. old son has taken an interest in it so we're off to a new romance with it. Great to have a kid enjoying the car!
Thx Basil for getting me off my duff and visiting this forum again lots off good info for future projects.

Be sure to jump over to the Healey forum - very good bunch there!

Hi There Eric,

"Welcome" to the BCF. It sounds like You and Your Son are going to partners in the Healey. Thats pretty cool.

What model(s) Porsche are you playing with?

Have Fun,

Russ

Cool.

Why not post a pic or two here.

Hey Eric! Just east of you in Appleton, WI. My Healey is a bit newer (1974 Jensen-Healey MkII) and your situation sounds a bit similar. My 18 year old son is helping me with the restoration (I think he's convinced the car will be his soon... not going to happen) and it's a good bonding project for us.

Welcome to you and your son!
