hi all,
is there a link available to get a detailed wring diagram it looks like the previous owner has cut and removed some wires ,
i can't get any reading on the fuel guage ,i've cleaned the connectors still no good any suggestions ?i've got a haynes manual but too hard to follow the wires.

What year car? They're all a bit different.

When I redid the Bugeye, I used the diagram in the Haynes manual and found it to be accurate. Of course, the Bugeye only has a couple wires, so it was easy to trace.

Generally, the green/black runs to between the sender and the gauge, and the gauge is supplied with a green (switched power source). Of course the sender needs a good ground.

Yeah there should be a decent diagram in the back of the spridget haynes manual. Everybody needs one of those anyhow. make yourself a copy of the page and then enlarge that page and it will help. I have worked on a few gauges, let me know if I can help.

76 midget. sorry in my haste.

I think '76 is unique for some reason - not sure why though - maybe someone else does. I do know you can't seem to get a '76 digram on ebay
