Wiring

I just recently picked up a 77 MGB and the passenger front signal light wires and horns are not connected. I"m not sure were everything is suppose to hook into.
Does anyone have a picture or know how the mess of wires in around the front horns are suppose to be wired.

Thanks,

I would suggest cleaning the wires good with mineral spirits and matching up the color codes. Also, make sure the insides of the female lucas connectors and good and clean. Any corrosion can lead to heat and maybe melting.

This is my favorite MG electics site:

Mineral Spirit must always be used with lots of fresh air ventilation...as an alternative which will be safer for you and your wiring, I would recommend that you get a bottle of non-acetone nail polish remover and some cotton balls to clean up the wiring in the area of the horns. It is hard to tell the difference between the purple wire and the purple/blue wire that goes to the horns (both to each horn) and the rest is simple.

I just ask Wray Lemke!
