Thanks. That's close but that's the same one that's in the Hanes manual. One of the main visual clues to a proper 71 diagram will be the use of a horn relay instead of a direct wired horn. and all the wire colors are different (that's a little harder to pick out)
Keep trying.....please /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Banjo,
I'm puzzled by your comments. The diagram that you were refered to does indeed show a horn relay. The only time a '71 TR6 didn't use a horn relay was if it was equiped with an early "A" type overdrive, in which case the space for the horn relay was given over to the OD relay. This is covered in detail in my manual referenced above.
Wire colors not right? Unless I made an error in transcribing the diagrams, the colors are correct. This diagram was verified by hand over hand tracing of the wiring in my own and other's '71. The colors on my car matched the colors in all the diagrams I've seen.
I haven't seen the TR6 diagrams from Slash5, but I'd be willing to make a small wager that they are not correct for the '73 and '76 models. Why do I say that? Because EVERY single official diagram from Triumph, including those in the owner's manuals, and those in Haynes and Bentley are wrong. Unless the folks at Slash5 did a hand over hand walkdown of those two models, as I did, their diagrams will be wrong also.
I'm not knocking Slash5, as I haven't seen their diagrams to know how well they're done, but I do have complete confidence in mine.
One of the advantages of my diagrams over Slash5 is the price - mine are free.
