Wires On

Just put the Dayton 60 spoke wires and two brookland screens on my 56 TR3. I love to sit behind those little screens and I can keep a ball cap on no problem at 70 mph. You sit so low in the 3 you really are behind the screen. The wires are great looking and nicely balanced....my scuttle shake went away! Kumho 165/80-15s fit nicely (not in the tire boot though I have an old Michelin 165r15 in there)and are close to the original diameter. Now to get that checkerboard flag mouth surround painted on.

Ball cap. Baseball cap. You know that thing Americans wear with anything/everything. It's over a hundread degrees F in Arizona and the sun can play heck with a bald head.

Have ya'll noticed the trend is going back to wearing the ball caps with the bill forward. I remember when the phase began about 10 or so years ago, now they are pretty much wearing them the correct way. Even the mullet hairstyle is starting to fade. Maybe there is hope yet.

I can assure you, from painfull experience, that sun and bald head problems are not exclusive to Arizona. However I prefer the snap brim or golf type hat, festooned, naturally, with a myriad amount of lapel pins that are invariably crooked. A pipe helps to paint the proper LBC picture.
Cheers and all that, Tinkerman

We're in cowboy country and my wife wears a cowgirl hat with a stampede string in the LBC. The brooklands provide enough wind deflection to allow that too. Breakfast cereal back at ya.
