my car has black wipers......
sooo, i order one and i get a chrome one....
the VB book states no color for my year, but
says 76- are black.....
my car has quite a few parts that are normally
on a 1500 model....im wandering what color
wipers i originally had, IF mine arent original...z
 
As I recall my '71 midget had silver, my current '77 also has silver. Don't know if the ones on the '77 were origanl but I would suspect not.

I'm discovering more as I get deeper into the new one. The PO had connected the radio power to some other wire than then the correct one and when I stepped on the brake pedal the radio would go off. I corrected this yesterday when I installed a disc player.
 
I'm pretty sure your midget and mine are twins Zimmy, with the overriders and all. I have original chrome/silver on mine.
