wiper removal help

Well, it's coming apart. There is nothing behind the firewall except brake pedal/ clutch pedal/ steering wheel and 2 of the three wiper units. I'm referring to the part that comes through the skin of the car (see picture) The first came off fine but I can't get these two to budge. I've tried heat but only get what appears to be solder bubbling out. Could I have soldered the nut on somehow? (although it wouldn't budge before the heat either.) I've tried 6 days of penetrating oil with no luck. Any Ideas?

thanks
JP

Hi Jp, those wiper mounts are a real pain. i have removed 6 of these and i think only four of them did i manage to do neatly. the others i had to gently? chisel off the nut. i just looked in moss and vb, but they dont appear to carry the nuts or the wiper cable. good Luck

awesome! thanks for the advice, now I can wreck things! Hurray! Seriously, those 2 nuts and one bolt I broke are the only things do far that didn't come out the way they were supposed to gotta love California/ Florida cars! That being said was it solder that ran out as I heated them?

thanks again all
