Wiper refills

I am one wiper blade short of passing inspection... The frustrating thing is that my wiper blades are not that old. I am disinclined to buy yet another WAY overprice cheap Chinese wiper blade assembly from one of the usual suspects. I vaguely remember someone suggesting a locally available refill that can be cut to fit. Can anyone comment on this, or am I having yet another delusional moment?

Morris, no you're not delusional!

Just take a blade to your friendly, local NAPA or AutoZone, I'll bet they'll fix you right up.

You DON'T have to buy the whole assembly, just the blade.

Maybe someone will chime in with the specifics . . . :confuse:

Most any generic refill will work.

One 27" refill and a pair of tin snips. Dab of hot glue to keep the metal runners from wandering. Works for me!

Works for Miss Agatha as well.
