wiper motor woes

Alrighty guys,

I'm just about done with getting the electical bugs worked out. Last item(I think/hope!) is the wiper motor and washer pump. I know both of them work because I hooked each up directly to the battery and they ran. Neither of them work with the wiring now though. They don't seem to be getting power. I checked continuity of various portions and they seemed correct, but when I check voltage when activating the switches, there is never any power anywhere. Any hints or suggestions??

Thanks - Drew

As I recall the power from the fuse box goes to the motor, THEN to the switch. That way the motor has power to "park" after you shut off the switch.

Thanks for the help, I eventually figured it out. There was a ground somewhere that there wasn't supposed to be on and caused the fuse from green to white wires to blow. Oddly enough, the short allowed everything else to work, but not the wiper/washer motor. Wiper and washer motor worke just fine!! (except the washer motor doesn't pump anymore)

have a good one...
