Winters around Ohio are a little perfidious,their not all bad days,my cars will not go into perminate storage but always ready to jump.BUT some good suggestions are;
1.keep the tank full with stabiilizer
2.use dry gas,as dripping condensation is always prevalent
3.Fill the tires with nitrogen
4.Use Duplicolor'Shield'on lower areas of the car & bonnet
as it protects against salt dust spray.(Its a temporary
spray-on bra product, which will not harm the finish &
washes right off after your run
5.Lightly spray in & under the fender wells with water &
with a fan running to dry.
6.coat the wiring with wd-40 or equivilant
7.Drive the car once in awhile to drain the muffler of
condensation through the weep holes
8.clean out or clear the weep holes under the rocker panels
for collected water to ventilate
9.Never back-flush the radiator cooling system just let it
drain freely then refill,to much water pressure can have
a tendency to loosen & clog.
10.let common sense run rampant...those are my practices for
winter
