WINTER

Well I have been working on Alpine #2 for the past several weeks. I have just about everything that will come of removed so I can put it on a rotiseree and turn it over to work on the bottom side. Still have to remove the rear axle and springs and the front cross member.
Starting const. of the rotiseree next week.
These are good projects for the long winter months.

Chuck,
Long time, no talk. Glad to see your still playing with your cars. Still hope to get out west and see you some day. Still have my 69 Commer Motor Home and the 69 Commer camper van and the 59 Commer work van, but I have sold off some of my Austins as I simply couldn't keep up with the maintenance and excersize program. (that's exercizing the cars).

Hi Joe.
Glad to hear from you.The time I work on the cars seems less since I retired 2 years ago.I stole time to work on them. Now all the absolute must do,better do,need to do and should do are almost done. Then there are all the things we really want to do around home.Problem is we can't leave things as they are as we constantly redecorate. Then there are the 4 boys who all seem to want my help.I have promised myself I will work on the cars this winter. So far I did the small things I wanted to do on the Lister. It is done and we brought the Tiger in and put it up yesterday. We'll see how fast that gets done. Our social calender is getting full for December.8 grand children and all have concerts.
Enjoy every day and have a peaceful Christmas.

and life is sunny

Winter's finally hitting us here in the northeast USA. I got 10" (25 cm) the other day: our first significant snowfall. Friends north of me (in New England) got almost four times that, from the same storm.
Also, Joe mentioned Commer vans and I can't help but paste in a picture of that most famous Commer, the Ecurie Eccose Jaguar transporter (used when they were racing "D Types".
