Winter Projects

don't you have relatives or friends or someone who owns a shop that you can use for the weekend or a school or something.

Know anybody that owns a business with a warehouse?

I made it out to the garage for only a few minutes tonight, but I had time to hack out some aluminum plate and get it roughed out for a new air cleaner plate. I think my engine is being suffocated by my current little air filter so I'm installing a BIGGER one.

I'm hoping to get Mimi painted then install a panhard
rod and tubular front sway bar.

Howdy David,

Hey; Why don`t you stop by the house over the Holidays & take a peek at the TR3. Engine Bay Painted & Re-Installing some Misc Firewall "Stuff".

Happy Holidays to All,

Russ

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions about how to find a short term (1 - 3 days) heated garage rental?

Frank's transmission is getting very growly and BillM has my 5 speed all rebuilt and ready to go in but it's just to darn cold to do that job outside and Bill's garage is really really full and I simply don't have one.

Your welcome to use my heated garage... however I just checked & I'm 2095 miles away - google says it will take 1 day 11 hours to get here... :smile:Hopefully somebody is a bit closer for ya !

On the other hand (and not wanting to hijack the thread) Jer, I am going to the Sault at the beginning of February, how far off the highway are you?

Will do Pal! I'm surprised you didn't need to borrow my trailer
to get it back home.

Depends JP, I may be at my house right in sault ste. marie (3 blocks off the main route coming into the sault from the east) - you can see the 67 stored in the garage or I will be at my mothers which is outside of the sault about 30 minutes off the highway (then you can see the 74 Midget & other project cars if snow isn't to deep)- send me a PM when you know some possible dates/times.

Hi David,

I used Mike`s Car Dolly. I guess I probably could have "Pushed" her home with "Nothing" In or On Her!!

Fred says; It`s lookin` good for right after the 1st. to drop the Engine & Trans back in. "Can`t Wait for that Day"!!

See Y`All Later,

Russ

Working on a 65 Midget for 'Midget 50'. 35K barn find. 76 inspection sticker when found but e-bay seller left out a LOT!!!

Kurt.

Finally leased a shop and trying to get moved in. Plan to spend the next month or two installing the wiring harness and making a complete interior for the Prefect. Sprite is now at the shop waiting for that big wing patch. Maybe by spring.
