I'm a fan of the SU -- seems such a simple thing to adjust and dial in. I've never really worked on anything else; the Bing carbs on the old BMW motorcycle I used to have were really very similar.
When I was first going to shows and getting familiar with British cars I always liked the look of the twin SUs under the bonnet. Just seemed so exotic somehow.
Besides, Doc, if the SUs can work here in the mountains, they should be plenty for y'all down at the water line. Can't imagine there's much elevation gain down there.
